We were invited by photographer Catherine Leutennegger to design the visual identity of her solo exhibition at the Gallery of Photography Ireland, in Dublin. Catherine’s practice investigates the emergence and advancement of 3D printing, in numerous business sectors. She takes us to China, where a company has built one of the world’s largest 3D printers to produce entire houses. Leutenegger also explores the way in which this technology has been adopted by science, demonstrating how the line between real and virtual has become increasingly blurred in a post-digital, hyper-capitalist world.

The bespoke typographic treatment reflects Catherine’s research, reproducing the digital glitches she has been documenting in the last years and exploring the concept of reduction and substraction.
